What is the LeMay kit?

The LeMay is a bullpup conversion chassis for AR-15s that relocates the grip and trigger forward to reduce overall length and improve balance. It is not a serialized receiver or firearm.

Do I need an FFL to buy it?

No. The LeMay kit is a non-serialized accessory and ships directly to your door in the U.S. (subject to all applicable laws).

What handguard do I need?

You need a KeyMod or M-LOK handguard that is at least 6.5″ long for proper mounting.

What triggers are compatible?

Your AR’s rear trigger must be CURVED. Flat-faced rear triggers are not compatible with the LeMay interface. (Both flat and curved forward trigger shoes are included for the LeMay’s front trigger.)

Which uppers are supported?

Examples include bufferless/side-charging setups such as FM-15, PSA JAKL, BRN-180, CMMG Dissent, Faxon ARAK, and Matador MAT9. Bufferless BCG systems like Law Tactical ARIC and Evolution Weapon Systems (EWS) are also supported.

Will it scratch my gun?

No. The linkage runs with built-in clearance along the outside of the lower receiver. We also include clip-on protection and optional UHMW wear tape for extra insurance.

What’s included in the box?

The kit includes the polymer chassis, mounting system, cheekrest, flat/curved front trigger shoes, adjustable buttpad module, laser-cut 5052 aluminum 1911-style trigger assembly, rear safety elimination plug, both temporary and hardened hardware packs, and tools.
